CORE BELIEFS
We believe the Bible is the Living Word of God. There is only one God that exist in 3 person. God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the Son of God who died to save us. We are saved by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ and Baptism is the means by which people are to publicly profess their faith in Jesus Christ
OUR VISION STATEMENT
The Living Word Country Church of Texas is to establish and perpetuate a Church with a ministry to the farmers, ranchers, people who desire a comfortable country atmosphere and anyone who wants to learn the living word of God, to create a church family of individuals, both young and old, who have experienced the life changing effects of a relationship with Jesus Christ.
CORE VALUES
Discipleship: We simply want to know God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Evangelism: We want to share what we know about God with others so that they have the best opportunity to accept Gods Grace through Jesus Christ.
Family: We value the family and strive to strengthen the family at home, as well as through our church family.
Non judgmental: We Value and practice non judgmental ministry; we accept and Love everyone just as they are.
Culture: we will keep our service and activities culturally relevant to the country lifestyle and our western heritage.
Love: To love everyone unconditionally with deep affection and support.
Encouragement: to give support and hope to all.
Truth: To teach salvation from the truth of scripture.
Unity: Striving for the "Church" to be the body of the congregation united as one.
Generosity: To support those in need and other ministries.
OUR CHURCH
Worship's God: Honors God by worshipping Him corporately in both large and small gatherings and by maintaining private devotions.
Lives by Gods word: Understands the Bible as the ultimate authority for daily living and is involved incorporate, small and private Bible study.
Contributes to Gods work: Uses their time, abilities, spiritual gifts and finances for Gods glory.
Connects with Gods people: Pursues Christ by honoring relationships at home, in the Church, at work and in the community.
Impacts Gods word: Reaches out to the lost and un-churched by praying for them, caring for them and witnessing to them and inviting them to The Living Word Country Church of Texas events.
